A Railway Station

A railway station is a place where trains stop and start from. It is a busy place. One can see from a distance the green, red and blue signals. As one proceeds towards it, the noise comes in to the ears. On one side of the station, rickshaws, baby taxis and cars lie waiting. Passengers come and go. Some come out of the station followed by coolies with luggage on their heads. They look tired but are now some what relived. Others get in eager to catch the train. Some shout for rickshaw or coolies. People are also found in a long line to buy tickets from the counter. They push one another to go ahead. There is a book-stall where newspapers and magazines can be had. Passengers wait for the trains in the waiting rooms. The points man move with red and green flags. The hawkers move quickly from one place to another. The railway station is indeed a busy place.
