Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh. It is located on the bank of the Burigonga. Dhaka is in the center of Bangladesh. On its north Gazipur, on the south Narawangonj, on the east Norsindhi and on the west Manikgonj districts are situated. However Dhaka is an ancient city. It has long history. Dhaka is the most populous city in Bangladesh. Around 15 million people live in this mega city. For years of negligence of the government, people have made this city inhabitable place. Many problems are the daily companion of its dwellers. However we have still time to save this historical city. For this a careful town planning is needed.
