'Ha—du—du is a very popular game in Bangladesh. It is an out door game. Ha-du-du requires a small plain ground. The ground is divided into two equal parts. A line is drawn across the middle of the field. The young, strong and stout boys of the country play 'Hu-du-du'. There are two teams. Each team has equal number of players. The umpire decides the number of the players. The players stand face to face on a line. Each team stands in one part of the ground. One player of team is allowed to enter the ground of the opponent party. He utters all the time 'Ha-du-du' or 'du-du-du' holding his breath. He tries his best to touch one or more players of the opponent party. If he is sueeesslul in his attempt and comes back to his own area. the touched player or players are called dead. And if the player is caught within the area of the opponent party is called dead. The dead player or players can not play. They wait outside the ground until a player of their team can touch a player or players of the opponent party. Then the dead player comes back to life and regains his right to play. Thus the parties send forth players one by one to the area of the opponent party. The game comes to an end when all the players of a party are disqualified or dead and the other party becomes the wmner.
